Overgrown weeds and nettles on footpath

Reported via desktop in the Weed problem on the highway category anonymously at 10:00, Tuesday 13 May 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7561380.

There are overgrown weeds and stinging nettles on the footpath by the river as you are walking from Fassetts Road / Norwood Road to Loudwater School. These are getting worse and are encroaching the footpath making it difficult for anyone to walk down the footpath. There are lots of stinging nettles too and children walk to and from school this way. Please cut these back ASAP.

Updates

  • A Highway Officer will carry out an inspection within the next 10 working days, some weeds due to their location may require a specialist equipment for safety reasons, if your Highway Officer is unable to clear the weeds on site, they will arrange for the specialist team carry out the work, which in some cases can take up to 28 days.
