Machines not taking cash

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7552274.

I was charged £1.20 today Sunday 11th May 2025 even though it states first hour free. When I entered my registration the machine automatically asked for a credit card / cash. The machine wouldn't take cash and I didn't get the first hour free. How can I claim a refund?before raising a dispute with my bank.
