Terry Drive

Terry Drive has a big problem with all the vehicles parked there. I live in a row of four houses. The walkway, which is still part of Terry Drive, has a large green in front. Access at one end, many years ago, was used for parking for those houses on the green, but it was abandoned many years ago and then changed back to a green. As we have nowhere to park, there are very few spaces to park on Terry Drive itself. Many housing trust and private owners have driveways, but not the legal size for double drives. As new people join the street with three to four cars per house, it has become a very big problem. Unfortunately, cars are now a necessity for work; my neighbors and I all work shifts, and buses don't run at the times needed. Five years ago, an application was put in to turn half the green into parking for our row of houses, but the people who lived on the street put a petition against it, so it didn't happen. Those people, funny enough, have since left the street. We need some help here.
