Issued a parking ticket but I had used the machine to pay

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7484108.

On 22/04/25 I paid in Pound LaneCar Park and used one of the new machines to pay. I go every week and always pay without fail. I put in my car registration and time of staying. The machine said pay by card below which I did and the machine 'dinged' to say payment gone through and the screen came up with payment accepted and the time I would have to leave. I can see payment didnt go through by the machine did not say that otherwise I would have tried again. I think the machine is at fault because I noticed another car next to me with a ticket and they had also used the machine. I would have asked for a receipt after payment but can see no facility for this. I have paid the fine because obviously you will not accept this but I think you should check your NEW machine's operation and would be interested if anyone else makes this complaint. I would never never leave the car park without paying and go there every week with my Grandson and Granddaughter. Thank you Deborah
