Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7367243.
I am a skateboarder of 16years, and have worked in the industry for 14 years, I have visited the skatepark and as someone who is a professional skateboarder I found it to be dangerous, and if I find it dangerous for me it will also be for any children or adult trying to get into the sport! The maintenance of the skatepark has not been kept, things are rusty, the ground is very rough, the banks and transition are also rough, the coping on the quarter pipe sticks out way to far! The ledge has been covered in rust and the skatepark extremely small meaning people with crash into each other. I would like to ask for the skatepark to be looked at and an organisation, some of who I know to be able to come in and fix and extend the skatepark to really bring all wheel sports together and build the community together, for kids to be able to learn alongside adults and to have jams and competitions to build the community up! I think this will be amazing for adults and kids and gives everyone a space along side the play park to be able to develop life skills whilst learning a sport and staying active!
