A man parked on the pavement and double yellows outside the shops, with his car sticking out into the road, and went into the butchers. Dangerous parking to cars and pedestrians, just got a few seconds of convenience - could have easily parked in the car park 100 yards away

    Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
