Woman parked on pavement and double yellow lines with car sticking into the road, just so she could go to the butcher and other shops easily. There is a car park 100 yards away that she could easily have used.

    Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
