The bin here has gone missing!

Reported via desktop in the Litter/litter bins category by Claire Jones at 16:05, Wednesday 26 March 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7342614.

The litter bin used to be on the other side of the road outside The Forge, on the corner of Blacksmith Lane but this has gone missing. There ought to be bin at the end of the footpath between Chequers Lane & the High Street, at the High Street end (so it can be easily emptied), as the footpath is often filled with litter. I litter pick along this stretch every week, and I know others do too. This is the main route from Prestwood Infant School to Prestwood Junior school and is used daily. It would be advantageous for there to be a litter bin so that people stopped throwing there litter on the footpath or tucking it into the hedging along the footpath. Is there a reason it was taken away?
