Parking on double yellow lines on the entrance to Town Lane and the corner of it onto West Street. Food delivery drivers are constantly parking on the double yellows and blocking access to this residential road and causing danger on the main road and to pedestrians too. Numerous encounters with impolite drivers to advise not to do so. Has been reported directly to one establishment to no avail. Has happened since I’ve lived here (a year) but definitely prior to that too.

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

    Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
