2 Albert villas, SL23BD

Reported via mobile in the Parking on a footpath category anonymously at 15:14, Friday 7 March 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7242394.

I’m the homeowner. Our car was hit in the drive by an ambulance. ( it was parked within the parameters of the drive) and so we now have a courtesy car. We have 2 cars that fit in the drive but one, is slightly off onto the pavement. I would happily park the car diagonally but that would mean parking the second car across the road. I have raised prior to this, the speed limit on the road is not adhered to and cars are driving extremely fast. A police case was raised too. We have had a dog knocked down and a cat killed ( someone threw the poor thing onto the side of my neighbours entrance)

I have two babies and there is no way I can cross when the cars do not even stop at the zebra crossing.

Now, if a complaint comes to you re the car on the footpath, I have notified you of this and explained my issue. I have never had this issue before and we have moved in a year now. We have applied for a dropped kerb and spoke to your recommended contractors who advised on pricing etc yesterday. Happy to share the details as we have this on the ring camera. I do not appreciate however, neighbours threatening us and telling us they will contact the council ( they know people In the council) and sort us out. I raised this with the community officer today too.

Can someone please look into the road issue? Perhaps have crossing lights at the zebra crossing? Or speed cameras? The police mentioned we need to raise this issue a number of times with the council.
