Whitchurch High Street (north end) crossing refuge
Reported via desktop in the Bollards or railings category anonymously at 10:52, Thu 27 February 2025
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7197685.
The pedestrian refuge is one bollard missing and the other bollard has no lights on it. Either broken or just so dirty they don’t shine through. This is particularly dangerous at night as drivers cannot clearly see the area and it has been ‘crashed’ into again and again. It makes crossing here as a pedestrian particularly dangerous at night. The road is a main ‘A’ road with heavy traffic flow and large lorries often at speed. PLEASE sort this out.
