Dangerous and illegal parking

This van parks for days on end at the end of Cautley Close right on the mouth of the junction.

As per Rule 243 of the Highway Code, no vehicle should park within 10 meters of a junction. This van is clearly park much closer than 10 meters, so is parked illegally.

Quainton has seen a massive increase in traffic due to HS2 and the diversions going through Quainton, which means getting out of this road is already difficult enough without having to pull onto the main road to see around this van. This parking will eventually cause an accident unless it is dealt with urgently.

There is another van which also parks right behind it, making getting out of the road incredibly dangerous.

    Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
