Pay machine.

Reported via mobile in the Faulty pay machine category anonymously at 23:01, Monday 24 February 2025

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7183332.

This machine is forever out of service. Yet again, it has a sign stating so and informing that charges still apply...via Ringo.

I don't have the Ringo app, I don't want and shouldn't be forced to use an app, which currently and more often over the months is the only choice given in Buryfield car park, link road.

I like many others feel it's being discriminated against when all I need to do is pop into the village to collect meds from the chemist.

Many a time street parking isn't available I'm never more than an hour in the village so the one hour free is sufficient but due to the pay machine being out of service I've had many a wasted journey.

The Ringo, or any parking app isn't for everyone it may be easier for the council but for those that don't want the apps or more importantly their bank card details on their phones the council are taking away choice of where we can park by not maintaining the pay and display machines.
