Poor timing of traffic lights creating rat run

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7122030.

My sat nav constantly directs me through the Buckingham Park estate as I come in from Whitchurch, saying it is 4 mins faster than staying on the A413. If it is, it is bunging up a residential street as many cars go this way. Lights are poorly phased allowing this side road and the opposite one from Watermead greater time and priority than the main A413. This situation has been going on for a long time - why has it not been fixed?
