Western Lane - Outside Number 10 and Sometimes 14

Lavazza Works Van Parking antisocially and without the consideration of safety to others. There have been a number of near misses as residents cannot see round that van when pulling out of their driveways. Also another issue is parking opposite residents existing dropkerbs making it difficult for the residents opposite getting in and out of their driveways.

Van is of a size that when parked the vans parking lights should be illuminated. It is also parked directly under street lights where at night the light refracts off the van directly into residents windows.

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

    Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
