This is a cul de sac/turn around only

For many many years this has been a problem. This is the only place in our street which is very narrow for large vehicles (bin collection, delivery vans and emergency services) to turn around in Fairview Road. At the top of Fairview Road, there is a painted sign saying turn around only. But there is no sign or yellow painted lines to prevent anyone parking there. There are many drivers who leave their vehicle there and walk through to Maypole Road where they live and it is becoming increasingly frustrating. My husband parks his car right outside our home which is 102 Fairview Road. I have often witnessed near misses to his vehicle when large vehicles try to turn their vehicles around. God forbid the fire brigade has to come down there. It is dangerous and a hazard. Can we have a sign on the wall of the house which is right by the turn around saying "no parking". Can we also have double yellow lines painted as well. Fairview Road residents are becoming increasingly annoyed and exacerbated by this problem.
