Just outside Amersham station, possibly up the main street too

Reported via mobile in the Flyposting category anonymously at 17:03, Thursday 16 January 2025

Sent to Amersham Town Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6990921.

I’m extremely upset by something I saw this morning just outside of Amersham station. It’s still there and it’s almost evening.

One of the reasons I love living here is because it’s very inclusive and non-divisive generally.

I saw anti-Semitic signs right outside the railway station exit/entrance and across the street. They were taped to posts.

Both my grandparents survived concentration camp as Jews while the entire rest of the family were killed and I have a friend whose uncle is a hostage of Hamas and was kidnapped on October 7.

This is the equivalent to seeing a nazi swastika for me.

Could it be taken down, please?

I’m feeling really scared. This is how these kinds of problems begin… anti-Semitism.

I was scared to walk down the main street for fear of seeing more.

Is there someone I can talk to about getting this taken down, please?

Thank you so much.
