Width restriction markers

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6963754.

Someone has crashed into the width chicane and smashed the marker pole down, it has been down for months and other cars have crashed over the chicane as it is now not visible unless you are familiar with the road. It's very dangerous as it is.

  • This has been passed to a Highways Officer to investigate the enquiry/issue.

    An inspection will be carried out within the next 20 working days, if a replacement bollard/railing is required, this may take up to 12-14 weeks as we do not hold these items in stock. Please note, if the issue reported is a danger to the public, we will make the area safe until a permanent fix can be scheduled in.

  • An order has been raised to repair the issue reported, this will be a permanent repair to be carried out as soon as possible. However, there are occasions when a temporary repair is carried out for safety reasons until such time as we can mobilise resources to make the repair permanent.

    To ensure the highway network remains as safe as possible we will continue to carry out our regular Highways Safety Inspections which will include this issue until such times as the permanent repair is made
