Inconsiderate parking on Approach Road

When will the council take meaningful steps to address and resolve the issue of inconsiderate and dangerous parking along Approach Road. Station users are avoiding car park charges by parking the entire length of the street, effectively turning it into a one-way street. The road is now extremely hazardous for motorists and pedestrians. This problem has existed for at least 18 months and the council has yet to offer a solution for this significant problem. I urge them to introduce double yellow lines along the entire road and then enforce this before there is a serious accident.

    Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
