Parking lines cause traffic jam

Reported via mobile in the Parking in a restricted space category anonymously at 12:54, Sun 22 December 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6890497.

The white single lines have been set out so that a car can park on each side of the road with end of cars virtually opposite each other, which leaves l no room for a car to get through effectively causing a traffic jam as not even resident cars can get through, it looks as if there needsto be at least a car or van length gap eg. 20 feet at over lap and the ends of the white lines, to avoid cars parking end to end where lines stop leaving no gap, so white line looks to need extending on straight pavement park side to stop parking causing it.
