Zebra crossing - one of Beacons has not been replaced

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights & crossings problems with buttons, beep or lamps category anonymously at 18:46, Sun 8 December 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6835732.

Zebra crossing on Dean Street, Marlow at junction with Cambridge Road and Wethered Road. One of the Beacon POSTS was knocked down leaving one beacon on the Wethered Road side flashing. To my knowledge its been like this for at least 2 months - when is it to be repaired? I hope ASAP as I was nearly knocked down at night on the crossing by a car coming down the road from High Wycombe travelling towards Marlow. The driver did not appear to see the crossing as only one beacon was flashing, it was dark and travelling at speed. What makes things worse here is cars and especially large vans parked on the Wethered side of Dean street obscure anyone wanting to cross and they can only been seen at the last moment. This needs to be sorted ASAP before someone else, school children get knocked over in the evening. Do you have a date for repair?
