Car Park Payment Machines Pound Lane Car Park

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6758122.

On Saturday, 16/11/2024, I was unlucky enough to need to park in the above car park. I entered the car park at 13:08, and after driving around for what seemed like an eternity (at least six circuits), I completed my payment transaction at 13:30. None of the payment machines were working, and when I tried to pay via the Ringo App, the signal was so poor that it kept timing out. I eventually phoned Ringo and paid that way. If you insist that customers (and I use that word advisedly) pay by App or card, please get a mobile signal booster to ensure that a) the machines function correctly and b) customers can get a signal to use the App.

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team, an officer will carry out an inspection and arrange to have the issue resolved as soon as possible.
