Outside Loudwater Combined School, Kingsmead Road side

Reported via desktop in the Parking on double yellow lines category anonymously at 15:40, Tue 12 November 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6723434.

Midweek daily cars park dropping their children to school. It causes congestion and danger to other drivers with mothers and fathers opening their car doors onto oncoming traffic. This morning the bus coming up from Loudwater was blocked in traffic and unable to progress through its journey, causing major build up of traffic on Kingsmead Road. This is because these parked cars are taking up a lane mostly and making the road narrower that it needs to be. The parents have Kingsmead Car Park where they can safely park and walk up to drop their children, off at Loudwater Combined School - it just means using their legs to walk instead of causing major disruption in rush hour. The parents park inconsiderately. Council please consider making this a NO PARK ZONE/ NO DROP OFF ZONE during the ours of 8-10am and 3-5pm , make the parents use the car park which has plenty of spaces. I nearly got my car scraped this morning in the congestion. I am a resident of Kingsmead Road. This area is so congested. Its getting really an issue. School needs to be aware and parents stopped from parking on Kingsmead Road during rush hour please.
