Is it acceptable to allow obstruction of the NM Lower High Street when it causes traffic to reverse back up to the main road and damage our front gate in the process? If this is the case then are the highways department happy to compensate us for repairs to our broken gate post?

    Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
