Station approach at Gerrards Cross station

Reported via mobile in the Parking on double yellow lines category anonymously at 19:02, Thursday 24 October 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6655474.

The whole street has double yellow lines. Cars picking up passengers are parked along the two-lane approach as they await for passenger arrival. This means incoming traffic into the station gets blocked, whilst outgoing traffic from the parking lot cannot get out. It has incentivised the more aggressive drivers to drive dangerously in an area that is meant to have a speed limit of 5mph, whilst passengers on foot try to navigate the vehicles coming from every which direction. It’s frustrating and dangerous for everyone involved.
