Parking in double yellow lines is prohibited, isn’t it?

Residents don’t understand why the highway painted these double yellow lines if the restrictions are not enforced? What a waste of public funds!! We expect daily regular patrolling from traffic wardens to enforce the regulation, and issue penalty tickets on the offending vehicles! When is this likely to happen?

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

    Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
