Alleyway between Newtown Road and Willowmead half the width

Reported via desktop in the Hedge problem category anonymously at 15:07, Thu 10 October 2024

Sent to Marlow Town Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6576159.

Alleyway is overgrown from both sides and during a recent walk, I passed another person and it was like trying to find passing places as its only wide enough for one adult!

Updates

  • Alleyway between Willowmead and Newtown Road, uneven, path undulates from side to side, roots have broken up the tarmac, so much so edging is completely pushed out of the sides in some areas.

Surface is failing with layers crumbled away in parts.

Some sides of the path are inches higher on one side of the path to the other. Its bumpy and lumpy and easily trips my disabled legs up!

Its is also massively overgrown and dark even in natural daylight – streetlights completely obscured by trees either side of the pathway, particularly if you have Newtown Road behind you the hedges, trees and greenery on the Right Hand Side are massively unkept.
