Outside 25 Shepherds Close flat - dropped curb

Reported via mobile in the Parking on double yellow lines category anonymously at 17:44, Tue 8 October 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6567753.

Someone from Shepherds Close parks over the only dropped curb, with double yellow lines. (Instead of the empty spaces) Someone else has put a disabled piece of paper on the post outside their property, and doesn't use the spaces in the car park either. Combine the 2 together and you cannot turn around in the Close if there are not big enough spaces when bringing in a van to turn round in them. It causes a problem to then reverse back out as it's a tight bend with blind spots on both sides. This in turn then makes it dangerous for pedestrians when the van has to perform this manoeuvre due to the blind spots.

Updates

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
