Cornwalls Meadow Parking - Not Good Enough

Reported via desktop in the Problem with an on-street parking machine category by Alan Taberer at 12:39, Tue 8 October 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6565789.

Recently BCC has increased the parking payment and times between when the fee applies now from 7am to 7pm. Whilst there are many arguments for and against this change, It is totally unacceptable that 4/5 payment machines in this (the only public carpark in the town centre) are not working. This is a reoccurring problem with this location and although the counter argument is that you can pay by app, this is not always an option particularly for older people who do not have either a smart phone or are not technically adept at such a method. Rather than spending money on increased enforcement. Problems regarding simple maintenance and working payment machines should be made a priority. I trust this will be resolved with some urgency. Thank you
