The council owned green has now become a car park during the week - during the rain, the grass area is being damaged

Reported via mobile in the Parking in a restricted space category anonymously at 10:38, Wed 2 October 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6541675.

As previously reported (FixMyStreet ref: 6236950) the council owned green has become a car parking area over the last 6 months. The previous FixMyStreet report was closed with no discernible action being taken. Since this report in July, the situation has become worse. The volume of cars and vans has increased and with recent wet weather, the damage to the grass is now substantial. This street has restricted parking during the week, but there are no signs indicating when parking on the council own green is permitted. Commuters are now able to leave their cars on the green and avoid street parking restrictions. If it is now legal to park on the green, then please install a sign with the relevant conditions and notify residents of the new terms. If however, parking is not permitted, then please can the council deal with the situation and not close this report until the problem has been resolved.
