Faulty car park machine

Visited the above car park which I haven't done for some while as I live in Tring - where the machines are much easier to navigate. I only needed a short time to drop something off at the Florence Nightingale Hospice shop. People where Complaing that the info and machine were very confusing. Noting that there was no free hour now but it was now 50p. I tried twice and it sent out 2 tickets with nil payment. Some accepted it but I did not want a fine. So I did as others and was only accepting 70p and paying for 2 hours. The instructions are poor and it says 50p but it doesn't work. I was not the only one. Why can't you get your act together and give clear instructions and faultless machines. The council by taking away the hours free parking is not encouraging people to use the shops in a small town. If Tring can still give 1hr free parking why can't Aylesbury council do the same. Its put me off going there
