Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6490682.
My 4 year old daughter, and my newborn baby (5 weeks old) arrived at the park around 2ish on 19/09/24 - as soon as we arrived a council worker on a massive ride on mower arrived and started aggressively mowing the grass verged areas extremely close to us in the playground. He acknowledged we were uncomfortable with the extreme loudness of the machine, and the dust and grass it was spreading throughout the air, but continued to persist with the mowing as close as he could get to us. We moved to the other side of the playground numerous times in which he persisted to follow us around the park; as if he got some sort of enjoyment out of our discomfort. It completely ruined our trip to the playground, woke my newborn up and frustrated me that he felt it was appropriate and okay to be using machinery that close to two small children. We ended up leaving soon after - with my daughter crying as she was gutted. Bad timing - yes. But also feel the staff member could have been a lot more considerate of the fact he was in a playground.
