Path adjacent to carrideway between Aylesbury and Whitchurch
Reported via desktop in the Weed problem on the highway category anonymously at 15:29, Tuesday 17 September 2024
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6482168.
The hedge has been cut back slightly but as can be seen in the photos it is supposed to be much wider. The undergrowth needs removing from the tarmac path surface and the hedge need to be cut back so that the path is not overgrown by the hedge. At the moment the narrowness of the path means pedestrians have to walk very close to the highway and risk begin struck by vehicle overhangs, such as lorry mirrors etc. Please reinstate this path to it's correct width. I believe this is also a candidate for expansion to cycleway.. If so it will need to be done properly anyway.
