Station Road into Lower Road - traffic backing up from the junction of Wendover Road and Station Road

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6454593.

The roundabout at the junction of Wendover Road and Station Road in Stoke Mandeville should have traffic lights to provide breaks in the traffic coming north from Wendover onto the roundabout. Lots of traffic coming in this direction always causes a problem in rush hour but it is 100 times worse since HS2 have closed Risborough Road and diverted traffic from High Wycombe to come into Aylesbury on Wendover Road, thus creating more traffic diverted east along Station Road AND not enabling that traffic to move freely because of additional traffic from the diversion from Terrick to Aylesbury via Wendover Road. Please can someone intelligent look at this and do something about it as it is unbearable for those living in Stoke Mandeville AND for those travelling through it.
