Dangerous parking Blyth Close/Plym Close

Reported via desktop in the Parking on a footpath category anonymously at 09:54, Friday 6 September 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6442576.

Parents/carers are continuously parking dangerously when dropping off children for Ashmead School (observed daily 08:20 - 08:40 but likely an issue at pickup times as well). This was an issue all through the summer term and has begun again immediately with the first day of autumn term (probably ongoing for some time before but we are relatively new to the area). They park all along the yellow zigzags, on the surrounding pavements and on the corners of Blyth Close and Plym Close opposite - this is incredibly dangerous for the school children, other pedestrians and other road users.
