Overgrown vegetation on roadside blocking vision of and from property entrance

Reported via desktop in the Grass cutting category anonymously at 15:47, Thu 1 August 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6304185.

The vegetation along the roadside has grown so high that there is no visibility in either direction of our drive or from our drive. Whilst the road looks straight on the map there is a slight bend which inhibits visibility further. There has been a fatality here in the past. We are trying to cut it ourselves but this takes considerable time and we don't have the right tools as it needs the whole length cut

  • Our Grass Cutting programme commences from mid-April 2024 and is delivered in collaboration with Parish Councils. Priority will be given to road junctions where clear visibility for Highway users is important. The Grass Cutting programme is split into 2 types, Urban and Rural cuts.
The works programme is weather dependant and subject to delays. We therefore ask that you remain patient should there be delays or excessive growth in-between cuts. Where strimming around obstacles like signposts is needed, this will happen within 3 days of the grass cutting in an area which may not happen at the same time.
