Drains Half Filled or more with Mud, no room for rain water

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6303833.
The drains and gulleys all up the first 100 meters of the woods are half full with mud not water. The grills at the opening of the bridge is filled with mud (not water). The reason these were out in was to stop the mud slide that happens on Bois Moor Road when there is storms. These are all already more than half full of mud. These will not do their job of stopping the mud slide if they are not kept clear of mud. They are already with er full or half full. They need emptying to do the job for the mud. This is NOT an issue with rain water, it is mud. If this request gets rejected I would like you to give me your name so I can take this higher with Gareth Williams. These containers and gulleys must be maintained to keep empty of mud so they can withstand the next mudslide when it happens, There is already mud all around this area.

This has been passed to the Highway Officer to investigate.
We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.
The Highway Officer is only able to inspect the drain when the water has cleared away, this will be done within 10 days and if required, an order will be raised to clear the drain.

Update
This area or problem has been identified as an area which requires extensive improvement to the drainage system in order to resolve this ongoing issue. Our Capital drainage team has been requested to assess this site and design solutions to address the problem as the system is not adequate in its current state.
Unfortunately, this is not a quick process so we would like to assure you that we will carry out maintenance and drainage clearance on a routine and ad-hoc basis and continue to closely monitor the area to ensure the safety to all residents and Highway users
