Outside our house 64 Furlong Road

As discussed with our local council we keep having issues on Furlong Road and in particular outside our house as cars park in the small gap between our house and outside our neighbours house across the road. This happens nearly everyday and has been going on for at least 5 years since we have been living here.

This often means that buses and Lorry's cannot fit down the road and get stuck. Causing them to beep loudly for quite some time, knocking on doors trying to get the cars moved. It leads to lots of disruption, heated conversations and residents having to get involved to help resolve the issue.

This is the second time this has happened this morning and is a frequent occurrence (16/07/2024)

We also have issues with cars parking over our drive and the set up impacts our visibility when driving in/out of our drive which is a safety issue.

Please note there was also a car accident on Friday 19th July where a car crashed into a car parked on the side of the road. The car overturned.

There is issues with people speeding down Furlong Road.
