House number 369

Reported via desktop in the Unauthorised signs category anonymously at 15:55, Tue 9 July 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6209570.

Few weeks ago I reported that this neighbour is placing cones in front of their house to block anybody from parking there when there is no driveway or open access to their house. Its a public space not designated for them or a permit holder. If council allows them to do it then all other on the street including me would like to block the parking space in front of houses.

Updates

  • The Highway Officer will attend the site plotted on the map and make arrangements for the unauthorised sign to be removed.

As part of our highway management strategy, unauthorised signs will be removed from the highway, removal will be prioritised according to highway safety, resource requirements and the interests of the community. The Council may exercise their discretion not to enforce in some situations (e.g., small scale charity events).

These signs will be held for 28 days and there will be a storage fee of the unauthorised signs that do not comply with this policy where applicable.
