8 July 2024 - 16:45 My vehicle was damaged by width restriction bollards. My complaint is that the bollards are set at a height which makes them impossible to see when they are close or adjacent to the vehicle. Please can you send details of the studies and risk assessments which were carried out to ensure that drivers have a clear view of the bollards at all times, as my car was damaged yesterday and will cost money to put right which I intend to claim back from the Council.

  • This has been passed to a Highways Officer to investigate the enquiry/issue.

    An inspection will be carried out within the next 20 working days, if a replacement bollard/railing is required, this may take up to 12-14 weeks as we do not hold these items in stock. Please note, if the issue reported is a danger to the public, we will make the area safe until a permanent fix can be scheduled in.
