Chaos for nothing

Reported via desktop in the Temporary traffic lights problem category anonymously at 20:42, Wednesday 3 July 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6188413.

There are 3-way traffic lights at the roundabout at Dean Street / Chapel Street / Spittal Street. They are protecting a section of road which is marked by traffic cones. However, there is nobody working there, no equipment being protected, no road dug up, no sign of anything other than cones. This is causing chaos with traffic for no reason. If they are working during the day that is fair enough but they haven't been there, or anything there at all other than lights and cones since 430pm - they should be expected to remove and replace if needed the next day
