Village Green area between Pimms Grove and Pimms Close

The grass on both sides of the road is heavily overgrown but is something that has always been maintained by the council. Furthermore, our well looked after road now looks shabby and unkept as weeds are now overgrown out of the wall areas on both sides. This is a total eyesore and makes our road look very rundown. We all pay large amounts of council tax which should cover this work. The issue has been ongoing for many weeks which is shown by the overgrowth of the weeds and grass.

  • Our Urban and Rural grass cutting schedule will start mid-April 2024, full details of the grass cutting programme will be published on our website nearer the time.

    Our works programme is very weather dependant and subject to delays. We therefore ask that you remain patient should there be delays or excessive growth in-between cuts.
