Blocked Drain
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 11:59, Tue 18 June 2024
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6122046.
Previously and initially the problem started over almost 4 weeks ago at number 16 /15 and 14 Treves Green. Since the smell never went so we were hoping as it was blocked there it did affect my front garden so we have been patient all this time since it is the drainage pipes, But it has been since my neighbour number 17 called and report the issue and nothing has been done. The smell is just unbearable. This inconvenience is affecting 2 Disabled ladies and Children . Please do take the necessary actions since Thames water have been connected and mentioned that it might be some charges to pay.
Kind regards
Mr Mouloudi

This has been passed to the Highway Officer to investigate.
We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.
The Highway Officer is only able to inspect the drain when the water has cleared away, this will be done within 10 days and if required, an order will be raised to clear the drain.
