Outside my house @ 6 Chesham Lane

I live at 6 Chesham Lane and there is an old bus stop post outside my house which is no longer in use - mainly because it has been replaced by a larger bus stop shelter across the road on Chalfont common. The Carousel buses used to stop there ages ago but no longer do.

The old bus stop post outside my house is actually rusting, and the pole is loose so could become a hazard especially for the old people around here, and it has not had a timetable on it for years - so is it possible to get it permanently removed?
