The grass verge is now so high outside 40-42 Blinco Lane that it is dangerous. I live at 38 Blinco Lane and when I pulled off my drive a few days ago I did not see an oncoming vehicle and we very nearly had an accident. This verge has not been cut this year at all. Has it been missed? Or when are you due here? Soon please before we have an accident. It is dangerous and unacceptable.

Our Urban and Rural grass cutting schedule will start mid-April 2024, full details of the grass cutting programme will be published on our website nearer the time.

An order has been raised to repair the issue reported, this will be a permanent repair to be carried out as soon as possible. However, there are occasions when a temporary repair is carried out for safety reasons until such time as we can mobilise resources to make the repair permanent.
To ensure the highway network remains as safe as possible we will continue to carry out our regular Highways Safety Inspections which will include this issue until such times as the permanent repair is made
