Trees overhanging lights

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights & crossings problems with buttons, beep or lamps category anonymously at 15:44, Thursday 6 June 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6073446.

Trees/hedges overhanging the traffic lights are obscuring the signals making it difficult to see change of signal at the junction of Tring Road and Walton Way. This morning while travelling towards town I observed greenery obscuring view of the traffic lights making it dangerous for pedestrians using the crossing to cross this extremely busy road. The trees, both sides of the carriageway, need to be pruned to allow motorists to see the traffic lights.

This is a hazard for all road users.
