Page Hill Avenue junction with Stratford Road

Reported via desktop in the Grass cutting category anonymously at 13:22, Thursday 30 May 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6039369.

When is the grass going to be cut? All along the main road it is 4 foot and taller in length. I have lived in 6 counties and I have never seen it as bad as it is here. This is unsafe for drivers coming out of side roads and for pedestrians trying to cross this main and busy road. I have demonstrated in this photo, you cannot see the cars it is so long. It will shortly be too long for a standard mower to cut and the grass underneath will die when cut. The last report I submitted the response was inadequate and no answer was given for when it is due to be cut and it was then closed. The response was grass cutting schedule starts mid April full details will be published nearer the time. There is no schedule on the council website and we are nearly in June. When is it due to be cut? There will be an accident before too long involving a car or pedestrian and the council will have to be held to account for ignoring reports that this is dangerous. The length of the grass is a direct danger to pedestrians and road users. Please come and inspect it.
