URGENT Work van parked on double yellow lines for three weeks daily

There has been a blue ford work van reg LR63 OHW parked outside 69 Church Street daily for atleast three weeks. This blocks the flow of traffic along the street and causes delays especially at peak times.

I created a report last Friday however never received a email confirmation. They were parked there on Monday.

On Tuesday 21st I saw a man exit the property and get into the van which had a ticket and remove it. On Wednesday 22nd they were parked there again with the ticket placed under the window wiper (I assume to avoid getting further tickets). Today they are there again with the ticket under the windscreen which I have included a photo of.

They appear to be doing work to 69 Church Street as I saw a second man doing work in the upstairs window when the other man got into the van.

Please can something be done about these men as they have been repeatedly parking there and causing blocks on the road.

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

    Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
