Corner to the right of Lorraine Close

Reported via desktop in the Unauthorised signs category anonymously at 18:11, Tue 14 May 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5973742.

We had temporary roadworks here many months ago. After the roadworks ended, the roadworkers abandoned a large “Traffic Under Signal Control” sign. The sign sits on a large Blue metal stand. The sign was abandoned lying flat on the grass at the entrance of Lorraine Close for months. I have temporally moved it as I am selling my property in Lorraine Close and it is putting buyers off. If you want me to move it back I can do this, or you can pick it up from me. Please contact me on 07770 635676 or email ginomarc2@gmail.com

Updates

  • The Highway Officer will attend the site plotted on the map and make arrangements for the unauthorised sign to be removed.

As part of our highway management strategy, unauthorised signs will be removed from the highway, removal will be prioritised according to highway safety, resource requirements and the interests of the community. The Council may exercise their discretion not to enforce in some situations (e.g., small scale charity events).

These signs will be held for 28 days and there will be a storage fee of the unauthorised signs that do not comply with this policy where applicable.
