Ashfield Way on the bend by Oakengrove

Reported via mobile in the Parking in a restricted space category anonymously at 12:32, Mon 15 April 2024

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5854316.

There are numerous daily near misses with head on accidents due to the car parking and lack of spaces to pull into on the bend opposite Oakengrove Lane on Ashfield Way. Cars come very quickly around the corner and cars have been seen mounting the pavement to avoid collision. This has led to pedestrians nearly being hit. Yellow lines on the bend wound reduce the risk of this accident waiting to happen. It has previously been reported but is desperately in need of attention please. Vans have been parked on the corners of Oakengrove also which reduces visibility adding to the risk. Please could this be looked at as a matter of urgency.
